Individual Low-Net Stroke Play Flighted

 

First Starting time is 10:00 AM. Entry fee $93.00 per player includes greens fee, a $10 food and drink voucher after the round, prize fund. Power carts available for an additional $18 per rider. (NO ONLINE CC FEE THIS SEASON!)

 

Players may chose their tee this season!

Men may chose between the Black or Blue tee this season. Players who chose the Blue tee will see a decrease in their playing handicap of between 2 and 3 strokes. (The Black tee is the default, if no tee is selected by the player)

 

Women may chose between the White or Blue tee. Those who chose the Blue tee will see an increase in their playing handicap of between 2 and 3 strokes. (The White tee is the default, if no tee is selected by the player) 

 

Player of the Year points will begin to accumulate with this event, and will continue through the season. POY awards will be handed out at the conclusion of the December event.

Two- Person Team Shamble

 

First starting time is 10:00 AM. 

Team Shamble scoring (Both partners hit a tee shot, team choses tee shot, and both players play their own ball from there. Team Net total will count per hole.) Please email the tournament director the team members names. Individuals may register, and will be paired other members.

This event is individual Low Net stroke play scoring for two flights, with the four players in each group also competing in the Cha-Cha-Cha 1-2-3 Low Net team event.

Individual Low-Net Stroke Play

 

First starting time is 10:00 AM.

This event is individual Low Net stroke play scoring for two flights, with the four low individuals from both flights combined qualifying for the NCGA Associate Club Championship Qualifier. This event will be a one round qualifier for 2024!

Entry fee $93.00 per player, includes greens fee, food voucher and the prize fund. 

 

Players may chose their tee this season!

Men may chose between the Black or Blue tee this season. Players who chose the Blue tee will see a decrease in their playing handicap of between 2 and 3 strokes. (The Black tee is the default, if no tee is selected by the player)

 

Women may chose between the White or Blue tee. Those who chose the Blue tee will see an increase in their playing handicap of between 2 and 3 strokes. (The White tee is the default, if no tee is selected by the player) 

 

The Club at STGC will pay the entry fee for the four the qualified players at the 2024 NCGA Assoc. Club Qualifying round. NOTE- Men's maximum allowed index for the Championship 18.4. Women's Maximum allowed index is 25.4. If you qualify, and have a higher index, you may play using the maximum allowed index.

Two Person Razzle Dazzle

 

First tee time starting at 10:00 AM.

 

The format will have 2-player teams competing in a net competition with a different format on the first, middle, and last 6 holes of the Championship Course. 

On holes 1-6 the team of 2 players will play a Four-Ball format with both players playing their own ball on each hole, and the team using the best net score of the team for each hole. 

On holes 7-12 the team will play an alternate shot format with team members pre-selecting either odd or even holes to start on, and the team playing alternate shot until the ball is holed. 

On holes 13-18 the team members will play a Team Scramble. 

Each Team will have a team handicap, calculated prior to the round, for use on holes 7-18. The team will use their GHIN Handicap for holes 1-6. 

Closest the the Hole, and Accurate Drive competitions will also be conducted. 

The entry fee of $93.00 includes greens fee, awards, and a food/beverage voucher after the round. Carts are available for an additional $18 per rider.

Low Net Modified Stableford

 

First starting time at 10:00 AM.

Low Net Modified Stableford scoring (Double Eagle=8 points, Eagle=5 points, Birdie=3 points, Par=1 point, Bogey=0 points, Double Bogey or higher=-1 point)

One Flight for all players

$93.00 entry fee includes, greens fee, prize fund, food/beverage voucher. Cart for available for an additional $18.00 per rider.

Lone Star Scramble

 

First tee starting time is 10:00 AM.

$93 entry fee includes greens fee, discounted range balls, prize fund, and food/beverage voucher! 

Register as a group or as an individual, and we will pair you up with a group! Carts available for an additional $18 per player. 

 

In this format, one player must go alone on each hole. The other 3 players play a standard scramble for that hole. For example: Player A will go alone on holes 1,5,9,13 and 17. Player B will go alone on holes 2,6,10,14, and 18. Player C will go alone on 3,7,11, and 15. Player D will go alone on 4,8,12, and 16. There are two different payouts in this tournament. The low combined lone star score, along with the low scoring scramble score.

First starting time at 10:00 AM.

 

Invite a guest or team up with another member to form your team. I you are inviting a guest, payment for your guest will be made at the STGC Golf Shop on Saturday, October 19. Please send me the first and last name of your guest, along with their GHIN# and email address if available. 

Individual players will be paired with other individuals to form a team.
